This work, promised by the former Nigerian attorney general, the late Bola Ige, contains the splendour of young Nigerian authorship. Filled with poems and short stories it shows how literature can be created from the heart and the mind, often under difficult socio-economic circumstances. The Abuja Literary Society are a group of promising writers, musicians and artist (with different occupations in daily life) who meet once a month to read poetry and inherently discuss politics.
